We invite all to come and WORSHIP JESUS because He invites all to come to Him!

From its very inception, the New Life Community Fellowship (NLCF) has had the community in mind. In the year 2000, the name was changed to NLCF to reflect one of the main motivations of the church - to have real community - a place where all are accepted, all are welcome, young and old, all have the possibility to be ambassadors for Christ and all have a part in His church.

We invite all to come and WORSHIP JESUS because He invites all to come to Him!

Meet the PASTORS

Lead Pastors

Pastors Brian and Debbie Cooper have been in full-time ministry together for over 40 years. They felt a call to do ministry while they were married students at the Full Gospel Bible Institute (now Eston College) in Eston, Saskatchewan, graduating together in 1978. They have been involved in many areas of ministry over the years and bring a wealth of experience to their pastoring role. Brian’s experiences, among other things, include youth ministry, senior pastor roles, Dean of Students for Eston College, Worship Pastor, and Missions Director for the Apostolic Church of Pentecost. Debbie’s roles have included Music Director for Eston College, Women’s Pastor, Young Adults Pastor, and the National Director for Women’s Ministry for ACOP. Besides working at Eston College for 7 years, they have worked in 4 churches in Calgary, 3 being church plants.

They raised three children - Greg, Jana, and Jeremy and have now been blessed with the addition of two daughters-in-law, Kim and Sara, as well as three grandchildren, Amittai, Sunny, and Kasia. An additional 11 children and teens have come through their doors since 2009 via fostering with a number of these finding a measure of permanency in their home.

Brian and Debbie say that fostering has had a dual effect - made them age quickly but has also kept them young - if that is at all possible. It has also given them an increased passion for families who suffer in varying ways in our society and for the kids who are often innocent victims.

In all they do, Brian and Debbie have hearts that desire to seek first the kingdom of God and to look to Him for guidance in everything.

Statement of Faith

Hanna New Life Community Fellowship fosters a biblical view of life as understood in the Pentecostal and Evangelical traditions.

Therefore, we believe:

  1. The Verbal Inspiration of the accepted Canon of the Sacred Scriptures as originally given. (2 Timothy 3:16; I Corinthians 2:13)

  2. The Tri-Unity of the Godhead (Matthew 28:19; Galatians 3:20)

  3. The creation, test and fall of man, as recorded in Genesis; his total spiritual depravity and inability to attain to divine righteousness. (Romans 5:12, 18)

  4. The Savior of men, the Lord Jesus Christ, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, very God and very man. (Luke 1:30-35; John 1:18; Isaiah 9:6)

  5. The Gospel of the Grace of God, how that Christ died for our sins, was buried and rose again the third day for our justification. (I Corinthians 15:1-4; Romans 4:25)

  6. The salvation of sinners by Grace alone, through faith in the perfect and sufficient work of the Cross of Calvary, by which we secure remission of sins. (Ephesians 2:8-9; Hebrews 9:12, 22; Romans 5:1)

  7. The bodily ascension of Jesus to Heaven. His exaltation and His personal coming for His church (John 14:2.3; I Thessalonians 4:13-18), and His rule of the Nations of the earth for one thousand years. (Zechariah 14:4,5,9; Isaiah 11:1-4 Revelation 20:6)

  8. Water Baptism of believers by immersion in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ. (Acts 19:5; 10:47, 48; 8:37-38)

  9. The baptism with the Holy Spirit as an experience subsequent to salvation, with the Scriptural evidence, namely, speaking in tongues. (Acts 8: 14-17; 10:44-46; 2: 1-4; Galatians 3:14-15)

  10. The Gifts of the Spirit as enumerated in I Corinthians Chapters 12 to 14 being exercised and practiced as manifest in the early Church.

  11. The Spirit-filled life, a life of separation from the world, and the perfecting of holiness in the fear of God as an expression of Christian faith. (Ephesians 5:18; 2 Corinthians 6:14; 7:1)

  12. The healing of the body by Divine Power, or Divine Healing in its many aspects as practiced by the early Church. (Acts 4:30; Romans 8:11; I Corinthians 12:9; James 5:14)

  13. The reality and personality of Satan and demons, (Job 1:7; 2 Corinthians 11:14), and the reality and ministry of holy angels. (Hebrews 1; Matthew 18:10)

  14. The Eternal Life of the believer, (John 5:24; 10:28) and the Eternal Punishment of the unbeliever. (Mark 9:43-48; 2 Thessalonians 1:9; Revelation 20: 10-15).

  15. The Lord’s Memorial, commonly called Supper, for Believers. (I Corinthians 11:23-32)

  16. The sacrament of marriage defined as a union of one man and one woman. (Gen 2:24)
